
Spring health sciences and health professions career fair a success

果冻直播 (ACTC) hosted its spring 2026 Health Sciences and Health Professions Career Fair on the 果冻直播 Drive Campus on March 31.
The event provided students with valuable opportunities to advance their careers.
鈥淲e received great feedback from our employers, who shared how impressed they were with our students鈥 professionalism and preparation,鈥 said Ashley Vanderpool, ACTC career services coordinator. 鈥淲e would like to thank all faculty members within our Health Sciences and Health Professions programs for encouraging student participation. At ACTC, we are fortunate to have dedicated faculty who not only care about student success during their time here, but also in their careers beyond the classroom.鈥
A total of 142 students and alumni attended the fair, exploring career options and connecting with industry professionals.
Twenty-three companies, represented by 43 individuals, participated in the event, including Tech Medical Home Care Services.
鈥淚 have been with Tech Medical for five years and have attended numerous job fairs, and this has been the best event,鈥 said Eva French, human resources manager. 鈥淲e have never run out of applications before, but we did today.鈥
Ashley Ray, director of nursing at Tech Medical, said students were receptive and engaged.
Other participating employers included: Community Hospice, Community Mental Health Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham, Fresenius Medical Care North America, Harbor Healthcare, Kentucky Cabinet for Health & Family Services, Kentucky Career Center, Marshall University Human Resources Services, Marshall Health Network, Mildred Mitchell Bateman Hospital, Necco Center, Northeast Community Action Agency 鈥 Head Start, Northeast Community Action Agency, Pathways, Premier Health, Ramey-Estep/Re-group, River Park Hospital, Southern Ohio Medical Center, Tech Medical Home Care Services, The Lantern at Morning Pointe, Three Rivers Medical Center, UK King鈥檚 Daughters Medical Center, UK St. Claire, and Valley Health.
The Jobs for America鈥檚 Graduates program from Fairview High School was also in attendance.
