MEMBERS PRESENT:
Dr. Alan Alley, Rick Clark, Kathryn Davis, Brooke Elswick-Robinson, Greg Jackson, Leigh Latherow, Ann Perkins, Kailee Ross, Ramona Salyer, Chrisha Spears
ALSO PRESENT:
Dr. Jay Box, Jackie Cecil
CALL TO ORDER
Board Chair, Ann Perkins, called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m. in the John & Pat Stewart Board Room on the 果冻直播 Drive Campus of Ashland Community and Technical 果冻直播.
ROLL CALL
Attendance was taken and it was noted that a quorum was present.
INVITATION TO ATTEND MEETING
Chair Ann Perkins invited Dr. Jay Box, KCTCS President and Jackie Cecil, System Director of Human Resources to attend the meeting.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Ann Perkins, Chair of the ACTC Board of Directors, announced that the Board would go into Executive Session for the purpose of discussing and interviewing candidates for the position of President and CEO of 果冻直播. At 5:30 p.m. a recess was taken until August 3, 2018. On August 3, 2018, the Executive Session resumed and members continued to interview and discuss candidates. At 4:20 p.m., a motion was made by Greg Jackson and seconded by Ramona Salyer to go back into regular session. The motion was approved by all.
MOTION TO RECOMMEND PRESIDENT
It was noted that no action was taken while in Executive Session. A motion was made by Greg Jackson that the Board of Directors recommend Dr. Larry Ferguson to Dr. Jay Box for appointment and employment as the President and CEO of Ashland Community and Technical 果冻直播. The motion was seconded by Leigh Latherow. All were in favor.
ADJOURN
A motion was made by Ramona Salyer and seconded by Kathryn Davis to adjourn the meeting. All were in favor. Board Chair, Ann Perkins, adjourned the meeting at 4:24 p.m.
